Mid-Project Update


We're halfway through the jam, so here's an update on what the team has been working on since we first started.

Above are videos from the first test build.   David has been smart at work and doing what he can to bring Ryan and Heriam's ideas to life. 

I had fun being a menace to the game, and if we're trying to find the fun- it's already there. There's something about moving blocks around that provides catharsis. The game just needs refinement. 

We have about 4 days left, so our second sprint will be to apply the work completed by our artists and ensure David has the notes he needs to lock in the core gameplay loop.

The only expectation I had was the ability to grab and drop blocks.  Now we have bean animations, a custom BGM, a GDD, and textures for our assets.

What a wonderful journey to be on. I'm so proud of the team. The amount they got done while also juggling their life is a sight to see.
